IP67 Waterproof Performance Protection Specifications: When installing the product, ensure that the silicone waterproof ring is intact, undamaged, undeformed and non-aging. Assemble strictly according to the recommended rubber ring size in the drawing to ensure that the waterproof ring is evenly fitted to the sealing surface of the equipment housing without misalignment, extrusion, falling off and twisting; after installation, a waterproof sealing test must be carried out to ensure that the protection performance meets the standard. It is forbidden to use the product when the waterproof structure and waterproof ring are damaged.
Insertion & Soldering Specifications: During DIP insertion, it is necessary to ensure the precise alignment of the vertical 4 pins with the PCB through-holes, insert vertically to avoid pin bending, deformation and misalignment, and violent insertion is prohibited; during wave soldering, the soldering temperature and time must be strictly controlled. For manual soldering, the soldering iron temperature must be controlled within 350℃, and the soldering time shall not exceed 3 seconds per pin, to prevent thermal deformation of the high temperature resistant plastic housing, oxidation of the pin plating, damage to the contacts, and high temperature aging of the silicone waterproof ring to lose elasticity, which will affect the product performance and waterproof effect.
PCB Layout & Installation Adaptation Requirements: PCB pad size, through-hole aperture and positioning hole position must be designed in strict accordance with the recommended PCB layout in the product drawing. The aperture tolerance must match the pin size, and sufficient vertical installation space and waterproof structure assembly space must be reserved to avoid physical interference between the product and surrounding electronic components and equipment housing; it is recommended that the PCB layout tolerance be controlled within ±0.05mm to ensure the accuracy of vertical insertion, welding firmness and production yield.
Mating & Usage Specifications: The male and female connectors must be aligned horizontally during mating, apply force evenly along the axial direction, violent insertion, oblique insertion, shaking insertion and horizontal pulling are prohibited, to prevent pin deformation, shell cracking, internal contact damage, and waterproof structure loosening, and avoid affecting the electrical performance, waterproof performance and service life of the product.
Environment & Storage Requirements: The product must be stored in a dry, dust-free environment without corrosive gases and strong ultraviolet radiation, the storage temperature is controlled at 5℃~35℃, and the relative humidity is ≤75%. Avoid long-term exposure to high temperature, high humidity, acid and alkali corrosion, salt spray environment to prevent aging of the plastic housing, loss of toughness of the silicone waterproof ring, oxidation of the metal plating, and performance attenuation of the contacts; the product should be used as soon as possible after opening, avoid long-term exposed storage affecting the performance of the waterproof ring and electrical contact effect.
Adaptation & Selection Specifications: This product is an IP67 waterproof 16PIN TYPE-C female connector, which can only be used with standard TYPE-C 16PIN male connectors. It is forbidden to mate with non-standard, customized, damaged, deformed male connectors with foreign objects to prevent damage to the internal structure of the interface, poor contact, short circuit, damage to the waterproof structure, and decline of sealing performance.
Transportation & Handling Specifications: During transportation and production turnover, the original packaging must be kept intact. Severe impact, extrusion and dropping of the tape reel are prohibited to prevent carrier tape deformation, product falling off, vertical pin bending deformation, and waterproof ring falling off and deformation; after the tape is opened, avoid pulling and bending the carrier tape to prevent abnormal peeling force from affecting the feeding efficiency and accuracy of the automatic insertion machine.
